Najma’s Indian Cookery Classes take place in my home kitchen in Raynes Park where I have been teaching since 2013.
My cooking class are small and hands-on, providing enthusiastic learners the opportunity to learn in a relaxed and friendly environment. In each class you will learn the essential techniques of Indian cooking, including how to blend spices to achieve the authentic flavours true to traditional home recipes.
From prepping ingredients to cooking and sampling the final dishes, you will take away a skill for life plus the dishes you have prepared to share at home with family or friends.

The Vegetarian Thali Cooking Class was incredible! Shermin taught us how to cook 4 dishes, letting us completely take ownership of our own cooking to learn about the flavours and processes of Indian cooking. Even when booking the course, Shermin gave us a chance to adapt the cooking class to suit what we wanted to learn. This course was the perfect balance of professionalism but in a warming home environment. It’s safe to say I will never cook rice the same again!!
